A natural extension of my Celtic Knotwork has been Tattoo design. Although as of
yet none have been actually realized in skin and ink, these have been requested.
Don't get too excited, it's not a permanent tattoo. I just managed to convince my friend
Ryan to let me freehand on his head after he shaved it!
The center of this design is pre-existing tattoo that I didn't do. My friend
Connie requested the extension. The pattern encodes her initials: CLG.
This is the first of two that I designed for Steve Anastasoff. I think that it's
very interesting because of the assymetry that creates the spiralling of the strands. However, the
overall effect makes the design seem slightly off balance.
Number two: this one although technically less interesting, I think makes a
better tattoo.
